This presentation will explore the life of Jack Beardall and how his passion for innovation led to the founding of CFCO, one of the first privately owned radio stations in the country. Among other things, the talk will cover CFCO’s many technological and programming achievements, which made the station an industry leader during the 1920s and 1930s.
Michael Alexander is Jack Beardall’s only grandson. He holds law degrees from the University of Toronto and Columbia University (U.S.) and has a litigation practice based in Toronto. Carrying on the family tradition in communications, he is also a best-selling author, professional public speaker and media commentator.
