Join us FRIDAY November 14th at 7:00 PM to learn about the history of the Essex-Kent Mennonite Historical Association, a brief history of the Mennonites in Essex-Kent and a review of the resources in the archives and the artifacts in the museum available to assist genealogists and historians. Bio: Jill Nicholson has been the Curator of the Essex-Kent Mennonite Historical Association since 2018 and is the Vice President of the Leamington-Mersea Historical Society. She is a retired librarian who has championed local history during her library career. She spearheaded the local history digitization project at the Leamington Public Library in the 1990s. She organized several displays for Leamington’s 150 anniversary in 2024 and conducted two Jane’s Walks on local Mennonite and Leamington’s history.
