 o Ancestors will be there to talk about genealogy and Kent County family h
 istory.  We hope to see you there!\n\n\nThe first Bridgerama event\, for 
 the opening of the previous Third Street Bridge in July of '62\, was a lar
 ge and happy celebration that lasted three days. There were two dances (wi
 th a DJ for the young'uns and an orchestra for the adults—one on each si
 de of the bridge!)\, a parade\, “super sales” by downtown merchants\, 
 lunch and dinner specials\, and more.\n\nChatham residents were delighted.
  “At Last! The New Third Street Bridge Opens and All Roads Lead To Chath
 am!”\n\n\nOn Friday\, July 22\, the Municipality will host a ribbon cutt
 ing and bridge light up ceremony as the first part of the weekend. Details
  will be released soon.\nOn Saturday… Bridgerama Day 2022 from 11 a.m. t
 o 7 p.m.!\n\nTo celebrate the opening\, downtown Chatham will be home to m
 any attractions on Saturday. Some are music or other performances\, some a
 re sales\, some are for children\, some are for information\, some are ent
 ertaining\, and some are arts and crafts.\n\nFor more information see Brid
